BAT Theatre's script club meets monthly. Post-Covid, we are meeting live - during the daytime.
The Script Club meets on the third Thursday of the month from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. We meet in person at Merrill Gardens in Burien, 15020 5th Ave SW, Burien, Washington.
BAT's script club is much like a book club, but instead of reading books, the members read scripts. You read the script in advance and discuss it during the meeting. Often, the script is for BAT's upcoming play, but the script club also reads other interesting scripts.
The Script Club is a joyous way to become theatre literate, but more importantly, to have a good time and get to know your neighbors.
It is also your chance to give BAT feedback on scripts BAT may produce and be entertained with new friends.
Also, feel free to check out Burien Actors Lending Library (BALL), located at Phoenix Tea Shop at 447 SW 152nd St, Burien. BAT has placed over 2,000 books and scripts in BALL for you to check out!
See you at the script club and then at a show!
